Jesus says in John Chapter 3:3 "You must be born again". What does this mean? Jesus made it very clear that we are all already born of the flesh, but we must be born of the Spirit (John 3,) hence the term born again. Being born again is easy, painless and best of all free! It is allowing Jesus to forgive and take away your sins and asking him to be Lord of your Life.

Here are the ABCs of Salvation, 3 steps to be born again.

Admit you have sinned.
1. "For all have Sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" ( Romans 3:23)
Believe in Jesus
1. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Confess and leave your sin behind
1. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Here is a simple Prayer for you to follow:

Father God,

I admit I am a sinner, and I admit my need for YOUR forgiveness in my life. I believe that your Son Jesus died for my sin, I also believe that you raised him from the Dead and conquered Sin and Death once and for all. I accept your free gift of Salvation and eternal life for myself. Forgive me of my Sin, Come into my life and make me new. I make you Jesus, Lord and Savior of my Life. Thank you for Dying for me and giving me the gift of Eternal Life.

In Jesus Name Amen.

2. Introduce yourself to either Pastor Sam here at Leading Edge or the Pastor of the Church you go to
3. Tell us that you just accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
Read your Bible everyday
1. Start in the Gospel of John
2. If you do not have a Bible we will provide on for you, contact us.
Pray everyday
1. Praying is just talking to God
2. Talk to God just like you talk to your best friend
3. The Bible tells us he is our "Abba" which means Daddy, he cares about you, don’t be afraid to be very real and honest with Him
